Lil Bit

I was sitting at home waiting for my owner to get up and to get out of bed. I couldn't wait it was Friday and every Friday she would always go to McDonalds and get something to eat and with me being her baby she always bought me something to. She finally gets up and I jumped up on the bed and like every morning she tells me good morning. She got up and got dressed and went down stairs. I heard her holler Lil Bit so I took off running down the stairs and she was standing with the front door open and said lets go. I took off out the door and headed to the car. When we got there she ordered what she always got a breakfast burrito and a cup of orange juice. Well when they gave her drink to her she noticed an extra cup with it. So she pulled over in the parking lot and stopped. She grabbed the extra cup and she was looking straight at me. I was sitting in the passenger seat and she reaches for me. She put the empty cup in the cup holder and sticks me inside of it. I know I'm small but that was just wrong. She was taking pictures and calling everyone I wanted to bite her so bad but then I got over it because owners will do anything to humor themselves.

Leter to me

When I read this letter in time I hope that all of my dreams have come true. That I'm with the person of my dreams and that I will be working and making good money. I want to give my grandmother a better place to live and my brother and sister a life to enjoy. Even though I got a bad life I want to make theirs better. I want to give them everything that they want because they are everything to me. When I read this letter I hope that everything is going the way I want it.

COACH RHODES

I REMEMBER WHEN I HAD COACH RHODES MY FRESHMAN YEAR I HAD HIM 4TH. EVERY TIME CLASS STARTED THEY WOULD ASK HIM HOW HIS MORNING JOG WAS AND HE WOULD TALK ABOUT IT FOR LIKE 10 MINUTES. PLUS MY CLASS WAS A BAD CLASS THERE WERE SOME KIDS WHO WOULD ALWAYS GET INTO TROUBLE. COACH RHODES IS A VERY GOOD TEACHER. WE LOVE YOU COACH RHODES.

THE BLOODY BRIDE AND GROOM

One night, I was at home alone, just talking on the phone with my friend about school and stuff. I had just come upstairs from watching a scary movie and I decided to just relax on my bed. I went to my parents' bedroom to turn the light on (I have to pass it when I get to my room.) As I turned it on I saw a disturbing figure as I blinked my eyes.

There, coming towards me faster and faster was a bride with a bloody and torn up dress holding a knife and grinning at me with fierce eyes. I blinked in horror but every time I blinked she got closer.

Finally I got to my room and just sat on the corner of my bed and told my friend what I had just seen. She didn't believe me but I was still scared and made her promise to stay on the phone with me until my parents got home.

About a week or so later, I was in the washroom washing my face when I heard footsteps coming down the hall. I looked up and coming from my parents' bedroom was a dark figure. I blinked and I could make out a man in a groom's outfit that was also bloody and torn everywhere. He held a knife high up above his head and grinned menacingly at me. My dad came into the doorway and the image faded away.

I didn't see anything else until my birthday two months later. Me and four of my closest friends were sitting downstairs discussing stuff when my friends got hungry. We decided to go upstairs, but we were going to have to turn on the basement light first. I went first and as I turned it on there was a little girl at the top of the stairs. As if waiting for me, she showed me a small knife and I stared at the torn little dress she wore.

I haven't seen any more things like this, but when I'm alone, or have one person with me, if I listen carefully, I can hear the sound of footsteps coming towards me and sometimes, my friends will be able to see dark figures coming towards them.

HOMECOMING

Homecoming is a part of everyone's life at one point or another. Most people just think its just another day and others think it is a special day. Homecoming is a tradition of welcoming back former residents and other relatives. It has been a tradition in Childress High School. We use to have a bonfire until a student of burned after it had burned down. I really like homecoming but it sucks that this is my last year. I wish that I could stay in high school for ever because I know once I graduate that is one of the things I'm going to miss.

H1N1 Virus (Swine Flu)

The proportion of deaths attributed to pneumonia and influenza (P&I) based on the 122 Cities Report was low and within the bounds of what is expected at this time of year. However, 60 pediatric deaths related to 2009 H1N1 flu have been reported to CDC since April 2009, including 11 deaths reported this week.Twenty-seven states are reporting widespread influenza activity at this time. They are: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, and Wyoming. Any reports of widespread influenza activity in September are very unusual.Almost all of the influenza viruses identified so far are 2009 H1N1 influenza A viruses. These viruses remain similar to the virus chosen for the 2009 H1N1 vaccine, and remain susceptible to the antiviral drugs oseltamivir and zanamivir with rare exception.

The Wrath of Grendel

Grendel was real mad because their was a party at Herot Hall. So he used a GPS to locate Herot Hall. He killed lots of men in just a swipe. Hrothgar was upset and used the world wide web to blog about his problems.

The Coming of Beowulf

Higlac read the blog on his I phone and decided that he would send the mighty Beowulf to help him out and kill Grendel. Beowulf listened to his I-pod nano the whole boat ride there to pump himself up. To their surprise their is a watchman at the shores with an optimum muzzle loader asking to many questions but lets them into the kingdom.

The Battle With Grendel

Grendel heard music and was hoping to kill a lot of people so he hopped on his mo-ped scooter and set out to fight. When he gets there Beowulf cuts his off Grendels arm and makes him bleeds to death.

The Monsters Lair
The monsters live in a creepy place where deer would never run.

The Battle With Grendels Mother
Grendels Mother was very upset and killed people and now Beowulf would kill her.
He goes to fight her and to his surprise catches her playing her x box in her lair when he arrived. He stabbs her and then sets out to make sure Grendel is dead. While he is looking around his whitebeard men are waiting for him to return, one is even playing a nintendo DS.

The Last Battle
Beowulf returns to Geatland and was welcomed by his uncle Higlac they feasted on burgers made a new grill in celebration of the returning of Beowulf. Higlac dies and Beowulf becomes king blah blah blah....Beowulf fights this dragon thats becoming a menace His army bails one soldier even used a jet pack to get away. Wiglaf stays to fight the dragon and defeats him by running over him with miltary's latest tank with built in bazookas.

The Spoils
They reward the trophy to the dying king. They thank God for there safety and helping give them strength to fight. Beowulf is old and retires his crown to Wiglaf before he dies.

The Farewell
Beowulf had a beautiful funeral.... soldiers ran on horses with the newest dirt bike with built in lights when you ride it and they laid the hero down in peace....

MY POEM

My name is Shannon
I'm funny, loving, outgoing, athletic, and caring.
I really like movies, having fun, and going to different places.
The people I really couldn't live without is my mom, my brother Chris, my cousin Lauren, and my girlfriend Licy.
The two things that really bother me is i hate it when people are mad at me and people who are drunk.
I have seen Mum & Dad, Red Rose, and Haunting in Connecticut.
I fear of getting hurt in a relationship and people leaving me.
You get to meet new people, have fun, get educated, and get a good paying job.
The three places I have visited is Altus OK, Dallas TX, and Liberal KS.
I would like to visit New Mexico, Florida, New York, Washington D.C., and New Jersey.
I hope to achieve in getting a good job, graduating from college, getting into nursing school, and to move in and help my grandma in Amarillo.

Life After Graduation

Really and seriously i haven't thought about that. I have been thinking more about school and going to college more than i have about anything else. I have thought about where I am going to live and where I am going to go to church at. I am going to live an Amarillo Texas so that way I can be closer to my grandmother so I can help her. I will work at a nursing home right down the street from here. I will be going to church at Quail Creek in Amarillo. Once i graduate I am going to try to take college at Amarillo College because they have a good nursing program.

My mom and my brother has help me out more than anyone else i know. Every time i needed something or someone one of them was always there. My older brother Chris would always watch me until the time i went to bed. I looked up to him and always wanted him there for me. My mom has always taken care of me no matter what. She was always there when i needed her or when i was hurt. Them too was there for me no matter what happened to me in my life and they both will always be there for me through thick and thin.
